'Aftermath' update! Tempest only .99!
Tomorrow is 'Fat Tuesday', also known as 'Mardi Gras', the last day of the Carnival season. To me, it was supposed to be the release of my third book, Aftermath (following Hurricane and Tempest). I chose Fat Tuesday as the release day because of its significance. I had released Hurricane on August 29, the anniversary of Hurricane Katrina, which was appropriate because of the setting of Hurricane. Mardi Gras, too, had significance for Aftermath.
I know how many of you are looking forward to the sequel to Hurricane, that is why this blog post is so hard to write. Due to some circumstances (baby, travel, new projects), Aftermath's release date is postponed for at least another few weeks. Aftermath is just not ready. When I started writing, it ended up being a lot longer than I expected. It's not only that I'm a perfectionist, but it's that YOU deserve an excellent novel. I am overwhelmed by the support and love for the series that I received from you my readers (Claudia S., Daphine R., Tara F., Mandy, Haley, Jaiden, and Michele M. to name a few). And it was because of you that I wrote Tempest. I wanted something I could dedicate to my readers, to give a little refresher of Hurricane, and to answer (and maybe ask) some questions readers had about the first novel.
So, I apologize for not having Aftermath out by now - but I promise you it will be worth the wait! Now, I have thought of a few things I can do to make it up to you: I will have an awesome release party with lots of great prizes and for a limited time I am releasing Tempest for only .99 cents! Thank you so much for your understanding, I love y'all, I really do!!
